Andrea Galli is one of Italy's most promising young chefs. In 2004 he was awarded Best Young Italian Chef and went on to represent Italy at the Bocuse d'Or competition in France in Jaunary 2005.

He started cooking with his grandmother, chef in a hotel in Senigallia. Later, on his father’s advice, he left to study at a catering school in order to master the basics. There followed several years of practise and professional experiences, the most important of which, according to Andrea Galli, was his time at the restaurant «Aimo e Nadia» in Milan from 1994 to 1998. «It was a landmark event in my professional career», he confi rms. «It wasn’t easy handling the huge workload, but the time I spent there was formative for my future».
